34th NRW Topology Meeting

The 34th NRW topology meeting will take place in Bielefeld on November 22nd and 23rd.

There is no formal registration, but please send an email to Claudia Gärtner (cgaertner@math.uni-bielefeld.de) if you plan to attend so that we can estimate the number of participants. Please also indicate whether you want to join us for dinner on Friday, November 22nd.

Google Maps does not know about the metro lines in Bielefeld. Do not trust its directions to the University, see below for instructions.

Practical information

To get to the university from Bielefeld HBF (Main Station) take metro line 4 towards "Lohmannshof" and get off at the stop "Universität", it is a ride of about 7 minutes; you will have to exit the train station building and cross the street to get to the metro station. All talks will take place in the main building (UHG) of the University; you cannot miss it.

At this point, we ask that you take care of your accomodation yourself. There are a number of hotels in the city center with easy access to the metro. For example, the Altstadt Hotel, Comfort Garni and ibis Styles are each located about a 3 minute walk from the metro station "Jahnplatz", another stop of the metro line 4. Should you reqiure assistance with booking an accomodation, please contact Claudia Gärtner.
